Terms of Service
Effective February 23, 2026 · Version 2026-02-23
Welcome to Know Your Child (“Service”), operated by KnowYourChild, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You represent that you are a parent or legal guardian of any child whose information you submit.
2. Service Description
Know Your Child generates AI-powered parenting insight reports based on Vedic astrological traditions. The Service combines birth chart calculations with artificial intelligence to produce developmental guidance content. The reports are intended for informational and entertainment purposes only.
3. Not Professional Advice
Important — Please read carefully
The content generated by the Service does not constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, clinical, therapeutic, or educational advice of any kind. Reports are not a substitute for professional evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by licensed practitioners.
The content generated by the Service does NOT constitute:
- Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of content generated by this Service.
- Psychological, psychiatric, or mental health advice. Reports are not a substitute for professional evaluation by a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, or therapist.
- Legal advice. Reports do not constitute legal guidance of any kind.
- Clinical or therapeutic advice. Reports are not a substitute for assessment by licensed clinical professionals, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, or behavioral analysts.
- Educational assessment or special needs evaluation. Reports are not a substitute for formal educational evaluation or individualized education programs (IEPs).
No practitioner-patient, counselor-client, or other professional relationship is created by your use of this Service. If you have concerns about your child’s health, development, behavior, or well-being, consult qualified professionals.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclosure
All reports are generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content:
- May contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations
- Has not been reviewed, verified, or approved by any licensed professional
- Should not be relied upon as factual or authoritative
- May vary in quality and accuracy between reports
5. Astrological Basis
The Service draws on Vedic astrology (Jyotish), which is a traditional belief system and observational framework. Vedic astrology is not a scientifically validated methodology. The astrological interpretations presented are based on cultural tradition and should be understood as one lens among many for understanding children, not as empirically proven developmental science.
6. User Responsibilities
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for all parenting, medical, educational, and other decisions you make regarding your child
- You will use the Service’s content as one of many inputs, not as a sole or primary basis for decisions affecting your child
- You will seek appropriate professional advice for any health, developmental, behavioral, or educational concerns
- You are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose data you submit, or you have obtained appropriate consent
7. Children’s Data & COPPA Compliance
The Service is designed for use by adults (parents and legal guardians). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All child-related data is provided by parents or legal guardians. The data collected about children is limited to: first name, gender, birth date, birth time, and birth location. Only parents or legal guardians may submit information about children through this Service.
8. Sharing
The Service allows you to share generated reports with others via shareable links. You are solely responsible for determining who receives access to shared reports. Shared reports may be viewed by anyone with the link. We are not responsible for how recipients use, interpret, or act upon shared content.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES YOU HAVE PAID TO THE COMPANY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
The Company is not liable for any decisions you make, or actions you take or fail to take, based on content generated by the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on content generated by the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
